40. Jiyhzik Figueroa Jiyhzik Figueroa ATH Allentown Central Catholic | 2025 State PA
The second Allentown Central Catholic prospect on this list already. 5’9, 155 pounds. A Seton Hill commit, primaries as a DB but can provide pass-catching reps, as he did this past weekend in support of THEE Academy.
His 7v7 program would advance past many talented programs on the way to a 18U Championship berth, providing Vassa and Whitsitt a viable option through the air, while also serving as a DB, this being a position most natural to Figueroa. A pivotal piece to the winning formula, Figueroa is just one of many THEE Academy prospects who will be featured on this list. I can make the case that his performance should have him higher on this list, yet I was only able to watch Fig for a game or two max.

Jiyhzik Figueroa Jiyhzik Figueroa ATH Allentown Central Catholic | 2025 State PA is another fun player to watch out of Allentown Central Catholic. 5’9 | 155lb DB/WR makes plays on both sides of the ball. I really enjoy watching him play on the defensive side of the ball. He’s discipled and understands how to cover receivers that are bigger/faster than him. Seton Hill University offered Jiyhzik back on September 23rd. He later committed to the Griffins on Jan. 31st. Yet another Lehigh Valley prospect heading to the PSAC. I’m extremely happy for Jiyhzik, and am excited to see what he does with his opportunity!

Jiyhzik Figueroa Jiyhzik Figueroa ATH Allentown Central Catholic | 2025 State PA announced on September 23rd that he had received his first college scholarship offer out of Seton Hill University. Seton Hill staff are a frequent at our camps, I applaud their willingness to offer prospects first and early, this the case with Figueroa.
5’8, 155 pounds, an athlete good enough to alleviate size concerns. A track and field participant, it shows on the turf. Given a Division Two grade prior to the season, good to see us hit on that evaluation. Phenomenal instincts at the cornerback position. Almost exclusively a boundary corner that is comfortable playing in off coverage outside the numbers. Diagnoses routes well and early, Figueroa isn’t blessed with otherworldly athleticism, so he’s going to have to win with a blend of smarts and experience. This shows on tape. Figueroa opens his hips on time, not often early or late. Figueroa breaks on the football in a hurry, is a sure bet for a PBU breaking on routes that break toward the middle of the field (posts, slants, digs). Is a name to watch for on offense as well, yet his value comes as DB. Would rank a bit higher if taken off the “ATH” filter and moved to DB. Every D3 program out East should want to bring this kid in, he should have a plethora of looks at that level. We will see if other PSACs reach out before the season ends, high chance of that happening.
All thanks to the man above! I am extremely blessed to receive my 1st division 2 offer from @SHU_FBALL @CoachHoyt_ @CoachKevinMay pic.twitter.com/Ml1mH6GSnY

Jiyhzik Figueroa Jiyhzik Figueroa ATH Allentown Central Catholic | 2025 State PA is a talented athlete in the 2025 class. He is a legit athlete who can play as both a wide receiver and as a defensive back. I am excited to see his progress this season. Below is what I wrote about him earlier this year:
“ Jiyhzik Figueroa Jiyhzik Figueroa ATH Allentown Central Catholic | 2025 State PA played cornerback last year for Allentown Central Catholic. He played it at a very high level as he was able to cover wide receivers well in both zone and man-to-man coverages. Figueroa’s best trait is his ball skills. When the ball is thrown his way he does a great job of getting his hands on the ball and deflecting the pass. He is also good in the run game by coming upfield to make tackles in the open field. Figueroa is a good player who should only get better going into his Senior Year”.
