Producing the biggest play of the game, Smith ran hard throughout the entire victory over Brentwood but his 62 yard score in the 4th quarter proved to be a game changer. This speedy all-purpose back has been a steady force all year long and was once again one of the better players on the field during this playoff contest. His play will need to remain high as next Smith and the Red Hawks face off against Ravenwood, who could be the best team in the 6A ranks.

Even though Taylor earned player of the game, I felt like Smith was the most important commodity in the Red Hawks 27-7 win over Rockvale. His speed and ability to get into the open quickly was a problem for the Rockets defense all night long. On several occasions, Smith would take the carry and break loose for big gains and get into open space down field before anybody touched him. His athleticism and speed was definitely a difference maker in Friday night’s road win. Smith has also been on a tear this year where he has and is boosting his college stock in a big way.

Jeremy Smith Jeremy Smith 5'7" | 155 lbs | ATH Stewart's Creek | 2025 State TN is a jitterbug with the ball in his hands at 5-foot-7, 140 pounds out of Stewarts Creek High School. He is undersized but plays with great toughness and aggressiveness as he seeks out contact. Smith is shifty with the ball in his hands with a low center of gravity and great change of direction skills. Versatile to play RB and in the slot, he displays great feet and fluid hips in both areas which makes it difficult to get a clean hit on him. Quality hands, Smith is instinctive and natural in the slot. At running back, he possesses the speed to capture the edge on outside zone runs.
