Harris was a disruptor most of the night in the Red Hawks close second round win over Brentwood. This senior linebacker created havoc in the Bruins backfield and made several big plays on the night that helped his team remain in the mix for victory. Harris was all over the Smyrna backfield in his team’s big region win over the Bulldogs. The senior linebacker was near unblockable throughout the night as his aggressive game play, instincts and nose for the ball were too much to handle for the Bulldogs offensive line. The Smyrna quarterback was very familiar with Harris as the Red Hawks defender sacked him five times. The way this Rutherford County product has been playing over the past several weeks points towards the possibility of Harris earning defensive player of the year honors for his region.
