Jeremy has been a steadying presence on a young Bulldogs defense this season. Jeremy does a very good job of tackling in the open field and in run support on the edges of the defense. One of the intangibles Jeremy has is his leadership and his winning traits, being part of several Butler teams that had successful seasons and advanced deep in the state playoffs.

One look at Nixon’s tape and it’s easy to see his versatility. Forced to play defensive end his freshman season, he developed a quick first step that you can notice as he plays safety for the Bulldogs. Nixon’s change of direction and acceleration are well above average and it allows him to make plays even if he ends up out of position.
