Dequadre is a special talent, plain and simple. He has made a ton of big plays throughout his career at Butler. Dequadre is a dangerous return man on special teams, and he can play at a high level as a defensive back also. As a receiver, Dequadre runs excellent routes & has great speed. He has offers from Lenoir-Rhyne & Gardner-Webb among others. Dequadre made some big plays this past Friday Night in the first round of the playoffs, yet the Bulldogs came up just short against a tough East Forsyth team on the road.

Dequadre didn’t do too much in the offense in this game, mainly because the Bulldogs did a great job running the football as a team. However, Dequadre had an electrifying 90 yard kickoff return to keep the Bulldogs in the game in the 4th quarter. On the return, Dequadre shook off a face mask penalty at midfield to get to the endzone. Dequadre showed his explosive speed and strength on the return. Dequadre also played a lot as a defensive back in this game.

Dequadre did everything he could Friday Night to help the Bulldogs. Dequadre started at both wide receiver and defensive back for the Bulldogs. He did have an 84 yard touchdown reception for the Bulldogs that was impressive, showing off his game-breaking speed, and I thought he was a factor in the secondary in taking some things away that Rolesville wanted to do in the passing game.
