A starting linebacker at New Hope last season, Jeremiah Harkins Jeremiah Harkins 6'1" | 205 lbs | LB New Hope | 2026 State MS flashed a ton of potential throughout the year. Harkins stands at 6’1″ 210 and will gradually continue to fill out with more time in the weight room. The standout rising sophomore primarily played inside backer last year and looks like he will project as a WILL linebacker at the next level. With the athleticism of a defensive back, Harkins can fly around the box and make plays at a high level. This is a great blitzer that can also cover wide receivers and tight ends downfield. The way the college game is shifting, linebackers with Harkins skillset are incredibly valuable to college coaches nationwide. Huge potential for the New Hope product and looking forward to watching him dominate this season.

Harkins is a stud of an athlete who was noted as an All American, All Districk Linebacker as a Freshmen.  At 6’2 205 Jeremiah is a force to be reckoned with on the field. HE does an excellent job of spilling the plays into the alleys reading his keys, and making game changing plays. This past season Harkin’s presence on defense helped his team compete against some well respected teams. The way in which Harkins was able to perform this in 2022 will continue to exponentially improve, which is saying a lot because of the accolades he has already earned. This kid will be a top tier prospect for sure in the coming years.
