I would describe my playing style as aggressive and explosive off the line. I take pride in playing with intensity, physicality, and high effort every

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is to always improve and push myself to be better every day. I’m never satisfied and constantly work to reach the highest level possible.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

At the moment, most of my time and focus is dedicated to football, wrestling, training, and improving as an athlete.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through sports, I’ve developed leadership skills, discipline, and the ability to lead by example. I’ve also learned how to coach and help others improve their craft.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of the biggest challenges I faced this year was balancing both football and wrestling while maintaining a high level of performance in each sport.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college where I can continue to develop as both a player and a person, compete at a high level, and be coached by a staff that will help me reach my full potential.

Alcantara had 54 tackles, 16 for a loss, eight sacks, 12 hurries and a fumble recovery as a freshman for Northview last season.

He had a solid showing at the Prep Redzone Exposure Series in May in an unorthodox environment with not a ton of offensive linemen to compete against. Alcantara shows good strength on film and can shake offensive linemen while defending the run. He throws moves quickly without engaging too much as a pass rusher and shows good short-area quickness. Alcantara can play off the edge or I can see him adding more weight and sliding inside as a 3-technique as he matures at the varsity level.

Alcantara had some really good reps in the individual and one-on-one periods but consistency kept him out of the top three. He has a really good get off and is a good bender. Alcantara does a good job getting the offensive lineman’s hands off of him and does a nice job adjusting his pass rush moves to what the offensive lineman is doing mid rep. He is a true edge guy who is likely best with his hand down as a defensive end but could be an outside backer too.
