I had the opportunity to see Williams play both football and basketball live this fall and winter. He may not be the biggest player on the field, but he’s dynamic. He lines up at slot receiver for the Spartans. He can stretch the field vertically, but where he truly thrives is getting the ball in space.

In the open field, he’s twitchy and explosive in and out of his breaks. Williams’ ability to juke and make defenders miss makes him a threat any time he touches the ball. In his route running, you can tell he understands leverage and has a high football IQ. He’s definitely a player who could be utilized in gadget plays as well.
