Listed at 6’1 165 but the multisport QB looks a lot bigger in pads. Stands tall in the pocket with good arm strength. The scrimmage was a “non contact on the QB” game but you can tell that once the season gets underway he will have the wheels to avoid contact and pick up positive yards.
Trail is a competitor and has been making his way around the camp circuit this off season. He was recently named QB MVP at the MVP Camp and has picked up several other accolades on the circuit. He looks comfortable in the pocket and I can’t wait to see what he does this Fall for the Wildcats. Still under the radar but one to put on your watchlist in ’24.
