Isaiah Livsey
Isaiah Livsey
The 5’8 180 RB/LB had a very impressive scrimmage. He rushed for over 140 yards on just 6 carries in the 2 Quarters, including 3 runs of over 30 yards. He had a 60 yard TD run in which he used a spin move at the line of scrimmage to avoid a defender then ran through a tackle at the goal line for the score. Livsey has quick feet and runs with power and is hard to bring down on initial contact. Was an All Region player as a sophomore before missing some of this Junior season with an injury. He appears to be back 100% and is primed for a big senior season. Note: He also added several tackles from the LB spot.
Listed at 6’1 165 but the multisport QB looks a lot bigger in pads. Stands tall in the pocket with good arm strength. The scrimmage was a “non contact on the QB” game but you can tell that once the season gets underway he will have the wheels to avoid contact and pick up positive yards.
Trail is a competitor and has been making his way around the camp circuit this off season. He was recently named QB MVP at the MVP Camp and has picked up several other accolades on the circuit. He looks comfortable in the pocket and I can’t wait to see what he does this Fall for the Wildcats. Still under the radar but one to put on your watchlist in ’24.
Highlights
Williams has added about 15 pounds since this profile update and is now up around the 5’11 170 mark. A high football IQ with good speed and hands. Figures to be one of Trails go to WR targets this Fall and has the speed to burn you deep and the hands to catch the short throws in traffic. Solid tackler on defense that made several stops on Friday. Old school football player that will rarely leave the field on Friday night.
Keve Porter
Keve Porter
I love defense and big hits so the 5’10 180 safety caught my attention. Solid built frame with good closing speed that laid a couple of big hits on Friday that you could hear from the sideline (I will post one below). Porter had a productive Junior season with 69 TT 2 ints 2 TFL and 5+ PBU. He played the role of field general out there on Friday night getting everyone in position and offering advice and encouragement to the younger guys.
