Rose is a dynamic dual-threat athlete who can make big plays for his team through the air and on the ground. Although undersized, Rose shows the athleticism and knowledge to be able to play multiple positions at the next level. Look for Rose to have a great senior season for Basic High School.

He stood out with his ability to make throws on the move and deliver the ball with precision. Rose is an under-the-radar “Athlete” prospect with the versatility to play multiple positions. He also helped lead Basic High School to the UNLV 7v7 championship, further proving his leadership and playmaking ability. His performance continues to raise his profile in the 2026 recruiting class.

Rose took a pair of D-III visits to Ripon College and Dakota St. this month. He put his name on the radar with the skill and talent he showed as a passer in his first season as starter with Basic in the fall. Rose, a top-100 recruit in PRZ NV’s 2026 rankings, is a prospect to keep an eye on for continued growth and development over the course of the offseason.

Although undersized Jayveon proved to have the skills to play with top competition and to win big games for Basic HS. Jayveon has great arm strength with the speed to make plays on the ground. Look for colleges to gain some interest in Jayveon as an athlete prospect as well as a QB prospect for smaller universities.
