About Jaylen

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am an aggressive athlete. Whether it is being an Defensive End who can contain and make swift moves to get past tackles, or a Defensive Tackle that is able to extend my arms and clog up holes to make easy tackles while also pushing the Offensive Lineman backwards. These same principles also apply to my game when i’m at Linebacker or even at Quarterback.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is always to win against who is in front of me. Whether it is hitting a swift move to get a sack or clogging up a running lane, whatever I can do to beat the guy in front of me is a win in my book.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Organizations: Leader of the Native American Organization, Member of the African American Organization. Clubs: Mock Trail Non-Sports Awards: 2x High Honor Roll

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

With transferring schools ahead of my Junior Year, I came into a new environment where as an upperclassman I was able to help the underclassmen even as a new student.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a rigorous college with a great Medical Program, that will allow me to play football at the next level and set me up for the rest of my life outside of football.
