This young man is the definition of a play maker. Standing only 5’8” tall and weighing 152 lbs. He has been electric since stepping on the varsity level as a true freshman 2 seasons ago. Playing both wide receiver and kick returner he has shown the ability to make plays all over the field. Running a 4.7 laser timed 40-yard dash, a broad jump 103.75 inches, and a 5-10-5 shuttle of 4.7 it’s easy to see the speed and quick that allows him to make plays. This 7v7 season he has shown a great ability to understand the defensive coverage while playing wide receiver.

He is quick out of his stance and gets in his route in a hurry. He flashes some impressive nuance as a route runner, throwing subtle head nods and shimmy in his shoulders to create deception and work DBs off-platform. He had the focus and the hands to make plays when the ball came his way too. Short proved reliable and consistently made big plays.
