Pagano’s ability to turn any play into a highlight reel was evident in his 981 yards on 137 carries (7.2 yards per touch) and 13 touchdowns. His patience, vision, and knack for finishing runs cement his status as one of 3A’s elite backs.

Pagano is an underrated back who deserves more recognition. The 5’9 175-pound senior had 29 carries for 151 yards and 3 touchdown. Once the ball is in his hands, he is gone. He has very good athletic ability due to elite acceleration, speed, very good change of direction, and good balance. He can stop and pivot on a dime, causing defender’s ankles to break. Pagano hits the hole with a head full of steam, and uses his very good vision to run through the offensive line. Due to his smaller size, he gets lost in the shuffle of things, allowing him to sneak through. Pagano isn’t easy to tackle. Defenders slide off of him, and he uses his powerful legs to drive forward. He’s a hidden gem out in Monument, Colorado.

Pagano is currently going into his senior year. He had an impressive junior season. Throughout the. season, he carried the ball 207 times for 1276 yards, averaging 6.2 yards a carry, and 19 touchdowns. He had 5 100+ yardage games, and almost went for 200 in a couple. Pagano uses his size at 5’9 170 pounds to go underneath defenders and squeak out the other side. He has very good athletic ability due to very good speed, acceleration, and change of direction. He easily jukes defenders out, and has defenders slipping off him. He’s shown good mental processing and vision by choosing the correct hole. Gashing the defense for a big gain. He hits the hole with tenacity and keeps churning forward as he gets tackled. Pagano is a mix of an elusive and power back. He uses his shiftiness to out maneuver defenders, and isn’t afraid of contact. He’ll throw his shoulder down and run through the opponent. Pagano has home run speed to out run defenders, and get into the endzone. He’s an excellent player who I believe will have a phenomenal senior year.
