As mentioned above, the skill position group for Team Ice was extremely deep at the skill positions. Leavy was one of two Brighton Middle School prospects who made the trip all the way from Tipton County in West Tennessee to participate in the game. While Leavy does play Wide Receiver, he was one of the more pure Defensive Backs in the game. Blessed with height and size for the position(s) at this point, he did a nice job particularly at Safety. He covered a lot of ground in the two-high safety defense when going in the live period. With that said, he more than held his own during individual drills when he was playing out at Cornerback, lining up against the likes of Luke Tritch Luke Tritch 5'11" | 175 lbs | WR Riverdale | 2029 TN and Maddox Porter Maddox Porter 6'2" | 185 lbs | WR Battle Ground | 2029 State TN during one-on-one drills.

Route running is the name of the game when it comes to Brighton’s Jayden Leavy Jayden Leavy 5'10" | 150 lbs | DB/WR Brighton | 2029 TN . Leavy has exceptional shiftiness at the top of his routes, and his incredible cut ability will typically leave his defender in the dust. Combine that with Leavy’s quick acceleration and burst off the line and he becomes a nightmare to match up against. All that said, Leavy admittedly views himself as more of a defensive back. He shines as a corner as well, showcasing great ball tracking ability and fluid hips on quick turns, two traits that help him on the offensive side as well.
