Over 7 games Mr. Howard has been able to come away with 75 total tackles averaging 12.5 tackles/game and 8.0 TFLs as well as 3.0 sacks. This young man was able to do so by flowing to the ball and getting his nose in almost every play. This is seen when he’s filling holes in run support between the tackles, securing tackles on the perimeter on outside the tackle runs, and when he’s making tackles in open space. One area to keep a close eye on is his range and ability to secure tackles outside his frame as he flashes this in his highlights below.
