About Jayden

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m an aggressive, high-motor defensive end who plays fast and physical every snap. I use strong hands, quick feet, and leverage to win off the edge and set the tone. I attack blockers, set the edge in the run game, and pursue the ball relentlessly. I play with intensity and never take a play off.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a competitor’s mindset. I’m disciplined, coachable, and always ready to work. I embrace challenges and pressure because that’s when I perform best. I bring energy, focus, and a team-first attitude every day.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I stay focused on academics and maintaining strong grades while competing at a high level in football. I take pride in being dependable in the classroom and representing my program the right way. I’m always open to opportunities that help me grow as a leader and student-athlete.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a defensive end, I’ve developed strong leadership and communication skills by holding myself and my teammates accountable. I lead by example with my work ethic, energy, and discipline in the weight room and on the field. I understand teamwork is everything, so I focus on doing my job and trusting my teammates to do theirs. I also make it a point to represent my school and program the right way

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of my biggest challenges has been balancing academics, training, and personal responsibilities while staying focused on my goals. There have been moments of adversity on the field, but I’ve learned how to respond instead of react. Every setback has pushed me to work harder and improve my weaknesses. Those challenges built my mental toughness and discipline.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that values hard work, development, and competition. I want a program that will push me to grow as a player, student, and young man. Culture, accountability, and strong coaching matter to me. I’m ready to compete for my spot and earn everything.
