Stephens stands out as one of the most complete backs in the Houston area. He combines elite speed with elusiveness, making him a constant big-play threat whenever he touches the football. What separates Stephens even further is his ability as a receiver out of the backfield. He displays natural hands and route-running ability, giving offenses flexibility in how they deploy him.

Built with a powerful frame, Stephens handles contact well while still maintaining the burst to reach the second level quickly. His production speaks for itself, 1,431 all-purpose yards during his junior season along with First Team All-District honors in 13-6A. With offers already from New Mexico State, Air Force, and Navy, his recruitment is trending upward, and more programs are expected to enter the mix as he heads into his senior year. He is firmly in the conversation as an elite rusher in the region.
