Baer is a bit of a freak athlete at 6’6″+ and has the frame to continue packing more weight and muscle as he progresses through his college career. He plays with violent hands, good bend for his size and creates immediate knock-back in the run game while also having a variety of power and speed rush moves at his disposal coming off the edge or when kicking inside. The 3-star prospect is a high IQ kid that read blocks quickly, shows strong backside pursuit and is a high motor guy that is always around the ball. He currently is committed to NAU and held offers from Colorado State and Cal before committing to the Lumberjacks.
