Barrett was a massive human being compared to his competition. He used his size and physicality well as he posed a massive weapon in the redzone. He was quick on his cuts and showcased good route running to get open over the middle of the field.

Jay Barrett Jay Barrett 6'5" | 225 lbs | TE Episcopal Academy | 2026 State PA is a weapon in the passing game as a tight end. He is moved all over the field as a tight end. He plays both as a wing off the tackle and as a slot receiver. He also moved around in motion. At the various positions, he shows a good ability to get open. He runs good routes and usually finds the opening in the zone. He also catches the ball well and does a good job after the catch by gaining extra yards. Barrett’s ability to move around and catch the ball in space is impressive. He is a weapon in the passing game.
