How fitting would it be the for the Philadelphia Eagles DB’s younger brother to be nominated for the award next season?

dominates as a wide receiver for OABCIG thanks to his overwhelming size and athleticism that few can match in that part of the state. With the ability to cleanly break off at the top of a route and get himself wide open, go up and get a 50/50 ball, plus out-speed smaller defensive backs, DeJean is like a 7/11 — always open. After losing the Falcons’ leading rusher to graduation, one has to imagine Larry Allen’s squad will lean heavily on DeJean and quarterback

, as the pair will do a mixture of throwing and catching the ball, but also taking off and running it from time to time.
Last season, DeJean grabbed 36 receptions for 461 yards and six scores, adding 27 rushes for 207 yards and three touchdowns. Playing QB in one game with Jensen out, DeJean completed 14-of-21 passes for 149 yards and two scores. Defensively, he added 18.5 tackles and three interceptions.

The younger brother of former Iowa All-American and current Philadelphia Eagle defensive back Cooper DeJean, Jaxx is a different player than his older sibling. He has a few inches on Cooper with longer arms and more position flexibility. Jaxx does possess high-end athleticism like his brother, but in the bigger frame. He could conceivably be a receiver, a tight end, an edge rusher or a linebacker at the next level, depending on how his frame develops physically. Jaxx is a prospect with a high floor and ceiling. He’s likely to be good on the next level with an opportunity for much more. It will be interesting to see where he ends up positionally and in what college program because development is key to reaching his considerable potential. Iowa, Michigan, Kansas State, UNLV and UAB have reportedly offered him scholarships.

is coveted by several Midwest Power 4 programs, holding offers from Iowa, Kansas State and Michigan. From the moment he steps on the field, one’s mind from a scouting perspective immediately thinks “That’s different.”
With a large frame that maintains athleticism and burst, DeJean possesses a wide catch radius, the ability to run crisp routes that get him open whenever he wants and the physical strength to manhandle his assignment as a blocker in the run game. DeJean ran a smooth hitch route on 3rd and goal from the six, breaking it off at the top of the route and moving to the corner of the endzone away from the DB for the touchdown reception. He also caught a go-route score on a deep shot following one of OABCIG’s three interceptions last Friday.

is back for his junior season for OABCIG. The younger brother of Super Bowl star and former Hawkeye, Cooper, DeJean has some big shoes to fill for the Falcons, and he’s done that so far in Ida Grove.
Moving up from 1A where he posted 57 receptions for 620 yards and two touchdowns, DeJean clearly inherited similar genetics to his brother. A smooth runner of routes as a receiver, DeJean finds ways to get open, and when he’s in the open field, is a fluid athlete that can weave in and out of crevices.
With offers from programs like Iowa, Kansas State and Michigan, DeJean is one of the more heavily-coveted prospects in the state.

, the youngest of the trio of he, Cooper and Beckett, is the claim to fame for the Falcons.
A wide receiver/defensive back hybrid for Larry Allen and OABCIG, DeJean can completely manhandle cornerbacks, make plays in the open field and grab contested catches on offense and takeaway one side of the field as a DB on defense. Last season, DeJean caught 57 passes for 610 yards and ten scores offensively while posting 20.5 tackles and two picks on defense.
DeJean will play tight end at the next level, thanks to his 6’4″, 220-pound size, but his fluid movements and multi-sport athleticism have him on the outside for OABCIG. With offers from Iowa, Michigan, Kansas State and others, DeJean could see his offer list grow substantially this fall, thanks to his openness thus far in his recruitment.

DeJean proudly carries around the label of being Cooper’s younger brother. Jaxx shares the high-end athleticism with his older sibling but it comes in a different package. The younger DeJean is tall with long arms and strides. Like Cooper, Jaxx plays multiple sports well, again, with different contributions in those endeavors. On the field, Jaxx stands out at receiver and cornerback as well as on special teams. As a sophomore last season, he threw a touchdown, rushed for a score, found the end zone 10 times after receptions and added a Pick-6. His sophomore video highlights reveal a prospect with a huge ceiling. Iowa, Michigan and Kansas State see it. They’ve offered scholarships.
