has done a great job behind center for the Raiders this season through the first three weeks. He’s a physical, downhill runner at the position behind his 6’1 225 frame, and is coming off a 252-yard and 3 touchdown performance against Greenbrier West. The passing game is still a work in progress, but you can see Workman transitioning to an H-Back or EDGE at the level, even as a young player still. How his body develops over the next two years will determine where he eventually ends up, but Workman is making a big impact early on for his team.

was a varsity starter as a freshman at quarterback for Liberty-Raleigh and has versatility as an athlete. He’ll make his debut in the 2028 rankings as an ATH, but could move to QB depending on how he develops as a passer over the next three years. Workman’s size will allow him to move around positionally, where he was productive as a DE/EDGE last season as well. He has ability as a quarterback and should keep developing consistently at that position, but his athletic versatility is worth noting.

battled back from an injury as a freshman and finished the year strong for the Raiders. He’s a big-bodied athlete who will have the potential to be an ATH prospect as well depending on how his body and game develop over the next three years. Workman is still raw as a passer but his strengths in that regard are velocity throws over the middle and deep balls. He’ll continue to develop accuracy and touch on sideline throws along with his mechanics. Workman is also a major factor in their running game and is a horse coming downhill on option plays and QB runs.

Workman is a big kid that played primarily Quarterback and Defensive End during his 8th grade season this past fall. Built more like a Defensive End than a Quarterback as of June 2024, he was a chore for opposing defenses to bring down. More than just a big kid, Workman showed athleticism by returning kicks and not being afraid to take off and scramble when he needed to. Where he ultimately ends up playing long term could be up for debate, as his frame and ability allowed for the Tight End position to creep into my mind as a possibility.
