My vote for TE MVP went to what I felt was one of the small town hidden gems at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase, in Parkston 2028 Jaxon Leischner Jaxon Leischner 6'1" | 220 lbs | TE/DL Parkston | 2028 State SD . He was a tight end that immediately caught the eye test with not only his frame, but his athleticism that was well-noted throughout our showcase. Jaxon also boosted his skillsets in my eyes with his strong football IQ and also had some of the most sure hands in the tight end group. He showed off a solid get off for his size and could make handfuls of catches in tight coverage. He most certainly will move up a couple of spots amongst our 2028 tight ends, as I really liked what I saw from Jaxon in live eval.

Jaxon is a tape that surprrised me out this 2028 class out of Parkston, as you wouldn’t expect to see tight end film based on what Hudl shows for him positionally. The 6’2 215 pound tight end is impactful in tight windows as a pass-catcher and you can gauge quickly has an athletic frame when he goes up for the reception. As a route-runner, Jaxon shows off a whole lot of fluidity within his routes and makes his biggest impact on deep routes over the middle of the field. Jaxon also brings controlling hands as a run-blocker in space as surely a tight end to watch out of powerhouse Parkston.
