Gage is one heading into camp season that I just can’t figure out why he doesn’t have his first offer yet from somewhere in the Dakotas. He has ideal measurables for the linebacker position heading into his senior year and logged 100 tackles as a junior and is a linebacker that can easily get sideline to sideline with ease at that size. He’s also one of the hardest hitting linebackers in my eyes in this 2027 class as there’s plenty of motor and juice around the football for Gage. He’s one that I feel college coaches wish they were on sooner as we get into college camp season.

Gage is another small-schooler that will see a boost by our next 2027 rankings update in South Dakota as the now 6’1 220 pound linebacker out of Parkston has been on a tear for the Trojans defense. Not only has Gage gotten more rangy with his footwork and movement, but the get off he’s showing off blocks has been pinpoint accurate from an alignment perspetive nearing into the ball carrier for a quick tackle. I’ve said it before, on tape you want answer the question “do I look physical” well, Gage has taken that to heart as his tackling ability shows the finish and the pop of physicality that a college coach is going to want to see.
