Wrapping up his junior campaign at Pittsford Mendon by wrapping up a lot of tackles for his team was the job for Jaxon Bernas Jaxon Bernas 5'11" | 195 lbs | LB Pittsford | 2026 State NY at the LB spot. Bernas is a flying LB that was not afraid to be aggressive and trusted his eyes a lot when teams would run many moving parts at his defense. Many times, Bernas was able to fly right through the backfield and make critical TFLs on the QBs or RBs. What I loved to see was the communication factor that Bernas was able to bring to the table on film that I saw on multiple occasions. This is a LB that plays with a lot of speed, leverage, range, and a high running motor. After every tackle Bernas makes, his energy shows off to the defense. The closing quickness to come downhill to shoot the gap was the defining factor in Bernas’ game and what allowed this Pittsford Mendon defense to make big stops.
