Javier Diaz Javier Diaz 5'11" | 230 lbs | LB Boone County | 2027 KY jumped onto my radar with an impressive junior year. He lined up at inside linebacker where he was very reliable against the run. Diaz showed the ability to time the snap count perfectly then use his speed to burst into the backfield before the opposing offensive line had a chance to block him. Once he gets to the ball carrier, he does a great job of running his feet through contact to secure the tackle and make sure no extra yards are gained. He finished his junior season with a team-high 117 tackles and 39 tackles for loss in 11 games. Diaz also recorded eight sacks and made an impact on offense this season, scoring one rushing touchdown. Javier is a player who college coaches should be paying close attention to this offseason.
