About Javian

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play fair but very aggressively. My speed really takes over my game, as I ran a 10.4 in the 100. When I get into the open field, nobody can catch me.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would say I am a funny guy. I like to joke around with people and do fun things. I like to hang out with my family and play the game. I also like to go to the track and the field to get some extra work in when I am by myself.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in outside track summer track and indoor

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Skills or qualities that have developed my leadership are things like finishing second in the race to become a captain or just taking charge of things on and off the school.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The challenges I have faced were my coach trying to put me at Corner back and trying to keep me there.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am just looking for a college where I can play football.

Jones-Priest looks as though he has put on some serious weight and fits the frame of a P4 back already as a junior. He has an electric burst out of the backfield and runs with ferocity, picking up speed to break off long runs. During a 72-47 shootout win over Mansfield, Javian showcased his elite track speed at all levels of the field, along with the physicality and twitchiness to break tackles. He compiled over 190 yards and 2 touchdowns on just 17 carries. Expect rising national stardom for the Warriors’ ball carrier, as he adds to an offer list that includes Illinois, Baylor, and Kansas State.
