Chipman is a fairly good athlete with some untapped potential. He’s a bit light right now, but he has the frame to grow into a Saturday body. He’s got good speed and takes long strides, which chew up yards in a hurry. He’s got a good top-end speed where he can run away from DBs. He’s able to make some hard cuts in routes to create some separation. He strikes me as someone who can develop the route tree and be a receiving TE that defenses have to account for. I like what he brings to the passing game and feel like he’s just scratching the surface of his potential.
