An accomplished wrestler, Jaspers is a versatile, two-way contributor for the Mustang football program. He ran for 250 yards and two touchdowns, caught 59 passes for 867 yards and eight scores, recorded 42.5 tackles (34 solo, 6.0 TFL), 3.5 sacks and five interceptions, averaged 22.6 yards on 12 kick returns and 16.0 yards with a touchdown on 27 punt returns. This stuffing of the stat sheet lines up with what I saw when watching him against rival Solon. He’s a quick-twitch athlete with speed and toughness. Jaspers plays much bigger than his size and would be an asset for a football program on the next level should be choose to do that with or without wrestling.
