Transferred from: Andrean High School (Merrillville, Indiana) to Bishop Verot High School (Fort Myers, Florida)
A 6’1, 220 lb. LB/ATH out of the Hoosier State, rising junior Jarritt Bolz left Andrean High School, home to some very impressive prep prospects in recent cycles, for the Sunshine State and the Fort Myers area sometime this winter. He was picking up some steam while in Indiana, earning his three FBS offers from Toledo, Central Michigan, and Miami (OH) all while he was at Andrean, and earning a high ranking by our staff at PRzIN. The spring tape just came out with the first evidence of Bolz in a Bishop Verot uniform, and it looks good, as he was bull rushing over blockers, getting home and finding paydirt as a blitzer, and looking speedy for a 6’1, 220 lber. at the same time, identifying, finding, and eliminating the rock quickly and effectively. I also like his sophomore film in Indiana, where he posted 99 tackles, 9 TFLs, 3 sacks, 5 FFs, 4 PBUs, and an INT, earning All-Area and All-Conference honors along the way. Bolz tracks, closes, and pursues well in space, and displays solid play speed for his size as well. He’s a three-down LB who has pass-rushing capability and can also contribute in pass coverage. Bolz can step into passing lanes in that hook/curl zone and has the speed to carry TEs and slot receivers across the field in man coverage as well. The speed, change of direction, and comfortability in space, all are particularly impressive for a 6’1, 220 lb. sophomore ILB, and I’m excited to see how the change in scenery and competition will positively impact his development and recruitment. The summer camp circuit/junior tape will be a big factor in the Hoosier State product rising into that P4 recruiting space. His talent and budding talent will be missed in Indiana, which is already showing a deep and promising 2026 class themselves. Keep your eyes out for the Fort Myers LB this fall!
