A steady, reliable, and borderline-explosive target on Saturday, Jarren Mitchell Jarren Mitchell ATH Spectrum | 2028 MN has taken big steps forward in his growth at the position and could be poised for big things entering his junior season. While most of the receivers were able to stretch the field vertically, Mitchell excelled in maximizing the boundaries from sideline-to-sideline, winning on nearly all of his horizontal route concepts and showing great control and footwork on the sideline. Mitchell has fluid route-running skills, which showcased itself when he made an awesome hitch-and-go route where he completely faked his defender, which was easily the best WR rep from the camp. Despite playing for a run-heavy Sting unit, Mitchell has proven more than capable at the WR position that he may be yielding a major workload in targets in the passing game this upcoming season.

Another Minnesota 2028 wide receiver that caught some of our attention at the Crown Elite Prospect Camp on Saturday afternoon was Spectrum’s Jarren Mitchell Jarren Mitchell ATH Spectrum | 2028 MN . Jarren is one that I wish I had gotten to watch more reps out of, but the reps I did watch were well-versed in what I am looking for a live eval perspective. Off the early eye test, Jarren was one of the more balanced wide receivers when it came to his explosiveness and change of direction amongst the underclassmen. He’s a fluid route-runner for his age as it doesn’t take him long to get to his top speed from what I saw on Saturday and he’s taken it up a notch from what you see on tape from his sophomore season with the Sting. Good wiggle as far as elusivness in open space from what my eyes caught in St. Bonni on Saturday. As a prospect that’s right up the road, I’ll be tuned to watch Jarren’s progression into his junior season.
