Jareth Staine is a rising sophomore who attends Springfield Central in Massachusetts. I met Jareth during spring 2023 at the Northeast Showcase just after he was offered by Boston College. He has surely grown since then and now stands 6’1″ 165 with additional growth potential. He also flashes a 3.89 GPA indicating no academic issues. He is known for his powerful throws and quick release along with dual threat abilities. He has very good ball placement and overall excellent accuracy.
During the evaluation process for rankings, “Staine” graded out as a Power 4 prospect. He has verbal offers that will only increase during his high school career. Schools such as Boston College, Umass, and Uconn have already shown major interest with verbal offers. He is the early selection for our #4 prospect in the class of 2027.

C/o 2027, QB, Springfield Central High school , 6’0, 160 lbsShort Scout Analysis: He can also be defined as an talented athlete behind center. I was present when he earned a verbal offer from Boston College during a spring showcase at his school. Since then, it appears to me he has grown an obvious two more inches and I can see room for future growth in his frame. A smooth confident athlete who will quickly adjust to the speed of the game when he enters the varsity scenet his fall as a rising freshman. He can easily extends plays with his feet.

In a region dominated by private, prep and boarding schools Springfield Central in Massachusetts remains one of the powerhouse programs in New England. The Tigers have their quarterback of the future in 2027 signal caller, Jareth Staine Jr. The 6-foot, 160-pounder picked up his first offer from Boston College this past May. If you’re looking for a comparison, look no further than former Springfield Central signal caller and current Virginia Tech incoming freshman, William “Pop” Watson III.
