JaQuez recently announced on Twitter/X that he has transferred to Northeast Guilford High School for his senior season. As part of a two-headed quarterback offense at Dudley, JaQuez was known as the more pro-style type of quarterback, as he impressed on Friday nights with his arm strength and accuracy. His offensive coordinator from Dudley, Antonio Hall, is the new head coach at Northeast Guilford, so it should be a smooth transition on the field for JaQuez.

JaQuez was a part of a highly productive quarterback duo this past season, and he was more of the pocket player between the two. Dudley in general put up some highly impressive numbers offensively, and JaQuez was a big part of that production. JaQuez threw for 2247 yards and 27 touchdowns to only 2 interceptions on the season. In watching him live, JaQuez does a good job of hanging in the pocket to make throws down the field. JaQuez can move around the pocket a bit, but I would not put him in a dual-threat category. JaQuez has a 4.2 GPA and is also in the National Honor Society – that speaks a lot as to why he’s the quarterback he is.
