The 6-foot, nearly 300-pound standout stuffed the stat sheet with over 100 total tackles, seven sacks, and an incredible 38 tackles for loss. His combination of power, quickness, and relentless motor makes him a nightmare for opposing offensive lines.

Escobar has the versatility to line up anywhere along the defensive front, but his future at the next level is likely on the interior, where his strength and ability to penetrate gaps can take over games. As a senior, he’ll once again anchor the Northeast Guilford defense and should be one of the top defensive line prospects to watch in the region.

Credit to Northeast Guilford’s staff for developing Escobar when he was undersized, so he’d be technically sound when he grew. Now up to 280 pounds, Escobar had a fantastic junior season, leading the conference in tackles for loss from his defensive tackle position. A versatile defender, Escobar can push the pocket as a pass rusher or eat up double-teams and creat space for his teammates.
