is a 6’4”, 320-pound interior offensive lineman who stands out as one of this class’s most physically gifted linemen. One of his most impressive traits is his explosive get-off at the snap. He consistently fires off the ball low and with force, allowing him to displace defenders one-on-one in the run game. His tape highlights his strength, physicality, and ability to dominate opposing defensive linemen at the point of attack.
Jancarlos also has surprising foot speed for a player of his size, which allows him to move laterally and pick up blocks in zone schemes effectively. His athleticism makes him versatile, with the ability to finish blocks in space and track defenders at the second level. Another key trait is his tenacity—Jancarlos is a player who consistently finishes his blocks and plays through the whistle, showcasing a mean streak that coaches love in offensive linemen.
At the next level, Jancarlos projects as a swing lineman with the ability to play guard and tackle. While his size and athleticism give him the flexibility to succeed in either position, his ability to stay low and control defenders at the point of attack will be invaluable, particularly on the interior. In certain situations, his length and mobility could make him a capable option at tackle.
Currently holding an offer from Division II school Lock Haven, Jancarlos is a player whose best football is still ahead of him. With his size, athleticism, and high motor, he has the tools to develop into a key piece for any program that takes a chance on him.

Taking the short trip down Route 9 from Woodbridge, I needed a double-take at Mena. Although he is a year younger, he and teammate

looked like absolute twins. Both trenchmen had very similar build and sculpt to their bodies. Mena is slightly taller, by an 1.5 to 2 inches or so, and moved very well for a young man that size. He had a kick-step that did not necessarily give the inside up, but Mena was very fast to cross back and drive if the rusher tried to take the inside. Once or twice I actually witnessed him completely dig out an inside slanter. This is a great indicator that Mena knows his strength and weaknesses and how to set himself up to win. I can imagine sense for the game would only be even more prodigious in the film room as he scouts his matchup. What I am praising about Mena is different than both his foot speed and speed of feet though; that is he can shift his body quickly to get in position to win. This is what made him shine to me.

is the type of linemen you see block all the way until he hears the whistle. With a powerful punch of the hands, JC is able to extend his arms and drive defenders into the ground. His run game tape is great. There are countless examples of JC swinging his hips around to create gaps for the backs to run through. There is a lot of quality film where he displays great run blocking. However, he doesn’t have a ton of highlights in pass protection. From what there is, JC shows great lateral quickness and the ability to fend off rushers. I’m sure with time those highlight tapes will get longer and longer for him, showing he’s an all around great tackle.
