I was at Elkton’s game vs Seed School this past week, where Elkton was able to old off a 2nd half charge and win 31-17. There were a number of players from the Elkton offense that could have gotten the nod here but I am giving the game ball Jamir. He carried the rock all game long for them racking up 150yds and 2 TDs. He contribute on the defensive side as well, consistently making plays in coverage.
He not only carried the ball for 2 scores but made huge impact plays to keep Elkton in control of the game. Every time they needed to get a first on 3rd down or needed a big play to keep momentum going, Jamir was given the ball and made that play. Jamir is a shifty change of pace RB with good wiggle, able to avoid tacklers and get into open grass. He runs hard and plays bigger than his size. Will fight for yards and power through arm tackles. Expect Jamir to continue to be a key part Elkton’s success as they continue their undefeated season.
