James Sherrod James Sherrod 6'0" | 180 lbs | RB Sunrise Mountain | 2027 State NV is a fast and elusive athlete who brings dynamic playmaking ability to Sunrise Mountain High School. While he lined up as a dual-threat quarterback this season, his impact as a runner consistently stood out on Friday nights. Sherrod shows excellent acceleration and change of direction, allowing him to create yards in both designed runs and broken plays. His size and strength translate well to the running back position, where he runs with confidence and balance through contact. He displays natural vision and creativity, setting up defenders before exploding into open space. This season proved that his skill set projects strongly to the college level as a running back rather than solely a quarterback. With his athletic profile and production on the ground, Sherrod has earned his place as a compelling new addition to the 2027 Las Vegas RB rankings.
