About James

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Universal player that can play anywhere the team needs me to play. CB, SS, WR, RB, KR/PR, Punter, Kicker. I can hold a block no matter the size.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a competitive but coachable mentality. I take pride in working hard, staying focused under pressure, and always looking for ways to improve. I’m a team-first player who brings energy, consistency, and a positive attitude on and off the field. I welcome feedback because I want to grow and help my team win.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through sports, I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills. I’ve learned how to communicate effectively with teammates, support others, and lead by example—whether we’re winning or facing challenges. I take pride in holding myself accountable and encouraging others to do the same. I’ve also been involved in community service through team events.

Johnson missed some time last year, but when he was on the field, he had a significant impact for Ambassador Christian. The speedy defensive back is stronger than his frame suggests, and that strength translates to the field. He often lined up against bigger receivers in the slot and isn’t afraid to hit. His athletic profile isn’t one that screams run-stopper, but on the field, he’s excellent in that regard.

We just talked about one of James’s teammates here in this article, and I wanted to add James to the Watch List because he has some very good athletic traits that allow him to be a playmaker. He’s listed as an ATH/WR, but I think his biggest impact is as a Defensive Back. James is not afraid to come up in run support and does so with good speed and tackling well in space. James can also make an impact on Special Teams as a Kickoff and Punt Returner. James can be a help to a team on the next level, and I’m excited to see his growth this upcoming off-season.
