About David
Expert Analysis
Matt Morrow | Prep Redzone Scout
David is listed as 6’4, but seeing him up close, he looks every bit of at least 6’6. This is an impressive young 2028 prospect physically. David is smooth in his delivery of the football, and I’m excited to see him hopefully get a chance to throw it around some this upcoming season. When you have a young guy like this, you want to get him that exposure and see how he can handle the heat on Friday Nights as a sophomore. His head coach has coached Sam Howell when he was in high school, so I’m sure they have a good plan for him to develop the right way.

Echevarria doesn’t have a ton of experience, but he certainly has the tools to be a top quarterback in the state. He’s already nearly 6’4″ and has excellent speed, even if he didn’t get many opportunities to use it last season. He doesn’t have a ton of film, but from what we’ve seen, he can deliver with precision when he has time to throw. He has the tools, now we’ll see how he develops.
