Miles is a truly special linebacker in the 2028 class.  He has range with the ability to be a super impactful guy in coverage. One of the premier coverage linebackers I have evaluated.  Takes away throwing lanes and high points passes for interceptions. Can cover one on one against slot receivers. Elite coverage backer that can also be an edge rusher getting around the tackle with his speed to power.  Ball hawk linebacker that flows to the ball getting off blocks with his hands.  Missile flying sideline to sideline. Elite instincts. Sets the edge against the run, squares up tackling, and wraps up low.

Jameer Miles Jameer Miles 6'4" | 195 lbs | LB Carmel | 2028 State IL showed up to the PRZ Stock Up Showcase Illinois and put up elite level testing numbers with 4.63×40, 10’2 broad jump, 6.9 L cone at 6040 195 as a sophomore. He clearly possesses the ideal length and athletic ability as a second level player, with a lean frame that is primed to explode with size and mass. Miles is an off the ball backer aligned at multiple positions on the outside and in the middle. He shows exceptional athleticism in space, an explosive overall athlete. Delivers physicality at the point of attack, defeating blocks or sending himself through a ball carrier. He comes with intent to inflict pain, a heat seeking missile in pursuit. Plays the run and pass at a high level. Miles has great traits at his age with massive growth potential.

Jameer Miles Jameer Miles 6'4" | 195 lbs | LB Carmel | 2028 State IL was the most athletic prospect arguably at the entire camp.  The class of 2028 linebacker with offers from Ohio State, Indiana, Nebraska, and Iowa shined in both individual periods and the competition periods.  He displayed a great ability to cover and carry deep routes in pass coverage in one-on- ones. He has prototypical size and strength for a linebacker; in fact, beyond prototypical at 6-foot-3.  Very fast and quick for his size with good hips and fluid change of direction. He is very instinctive and possesses great ball skills and coverage to break up passes.  Has a very high ceiling and I would expect him to only get better over the next two seasons.
