Possessing, as well as showing, the highest ceiling in Fargo, Kristian Chadick brought some recruiting firepower into NDSU’s first-ever FBS Prospect Camp. Representing Mundelein Carmel Catholic, a Chicagoland Class 7A (out of 8) competitor, Chadick was impressively athletic with verified size backing him, and the amount of tools and traits he possessed as a pass rusher really caught and held the attention of every coach in attendance. Green testing numbers and measurables across the board, and Chadick, during pass-rushing reps, demonstrated an explosive get-off, long arms that could stab and create separation effectively, flexibility, and speed, speed, and more speed. This Land of Lincoln product was super bendy, as he could load his hips and explode off the ball so well that OT’s were noticeably threatened and worried about it both pre and during the snap. He was could run the hoop with ease, string together pass rush moves, and turn the corner at the top of the arc, not to mention play OT’s hands effectively. Chadick came into the NDSU Prospect Camp on a heater, fresh off Iowa and Northwestern (IL) offers, and the hosting North Dakota State Bison smartly joined Chadick’s growing list of offers. Vanderbilt joined in on the recruitment shortly after he camped in Nashville as well. Buy stock in this Illinois 2028 now!

Powerful edge rusher at 6’5″ that has major pop with his hands. Bully as a physical bull rusher that overwhelms offensive tackles. Runs well in space and plays with a high-motor. Gets off blocks and pursues in the backfield. Explosive first step off the line. He really pops on film and best football is ahead of him!

Kristian made his way up from Illinois to compete against some WI OL and the sophomore had a day to remember. Checking in at 6’5″, 215 lbs, with a 6’5″ wingspan and 10″ hands, Kristian looks the part of a future D1 recruit. A long, powerful frame that is loaded to the max with explosive power. That explosiveness was displayed first in the combine. Kristian ran a 5.75 40, 4.3 shuttle, and unreal 6.84 L-Drill, and also jumped 9’5″ and 9’7″. Those numbers were even more illustrated in 1 on 1s. Off the edge Kristian is able to instantly threaten OTs around the outside. His long strides and first step burst give him a huge advantage. He also has a great base of body control and agility to allow him the ability to counter or juke back inside against the OTs. The 2028 definitely earned that Illinois ranking with his performance.

Chadick comes out of Carmel Catholic with a lot to prove. His size is intimidating and he’s on in 9th grade. He got my attention first when walking by him broad jumping. Needless to say he covered ground easily with his long legs and cut up physique. In position groups he didn’t shy from the older guys who carried a little more mass. That’s when you saw the quickness, flip of the hips, and hand combat come into play. Kristian is eye candy and will be a big D1 prospect in the years to come as he matures and hits the weight room. Size, speed, strength are a scary combination and this kid is flirting with destiny.
