Jamal Davis Jr. was well prepared to display his talents in front of college coaches. He flashed quick feet, great range to cover sideline to sideline, tremendous ball skills, with great leaping ability. His performance on the day stood out amongst coaches in attendance. He is a C/O 2025 Defensive back who attends St Thomas More in Connecticut. On May 13, 2024, after the event, he announced an offer from the following schools: Lehigh University and the University of Pennsylvania.

2023 Film Review: Jamal has quick hips and can get to the ball quickly. He has sticky fingers and can take the ball from receivers in traffic. He has fast feet and breakaway speed. Jamal does a good job of squaring up to tackle and is a sure stick when he gets there. He brings good size at 200+ pounds, and has the bounce to jump with any receiver. He brings the lumber when tacking, and is an asset on special teams as well.
His measurables align with NESCAC Schools

He is ranked as our #2 Defensive back in the class of 2025 within New England.
His skill set was on another level than the competition. A class of 2025 stud who is on track to earn additional offers this summer during camp season. In speaking with him during the showcase, he was there to get work in just before he begins his summer college camp tour.
rnA solid defender with 4.5 speed and it was displayed in live action. He is surely so far along in his smooth backpedal and transition to open his hips in either direction, that he looks like a season senior who is ready for college ball. Solid Defender !!!!!

He is ranked as the #2 class of 2025 “Defensive Back” in Connecticut and also the # 2 ranked “Defensive Back” in the New England. He attends St. Thomas Moore in Connecticut.
His season play helped catch the attention of in state Div 1 Uconn Football Coaches. He recently picked up his first Div 1 offer from Univ of Connecticut in January 2023. A solid defender with 4.5 speed who is just getting started, and has time for additional growth and development. He plays downhill fast, and also plays tough in run support. He has good balance, quick change of direction, and acceleration out of cuts. He has a short area of quickness seen in his skill set. Another projected Div 1 recruit.
“Davis Jr. will be an attractive recruit on the summer camp circuit who I expect to pick up additional offers before 2023 fall season.

One of my favorite underclassmen defensive back prospects in all of New England.

‘s tape is littered with a great mixture of elite technical and athletic reps. Davis Jr. will wow with his awareness and ball-tracking skills, it’s what pops off the screen. Yet the young man is so far along in his backpedal, in his ability to be physical throughout the duration of a route. Davis Jr. can manipulate routes in his favor, not to mention his prowess in run support. It’s the little things that excite me with Davis Jr. It’s relatively easy to find INT-hungry corners with athleticism, I want to see technique, this young man has it and is still an underclassman. Davis Jr. also provides quality reps on the offensive side of the ball, proving his worth as a two-way player.
