Joyce is a monster up front for Groveport Madison. Against Canal Winchester, Joyce lined up in the backfield and on the defensive line where he found success on both sides of the ball. Early in the game, Joyce stripped the ball out of the hands of a Canal Winchester ball carrier, leading to a scoop and score for his defense. He plugged many run gaps in his way, and eventually, Canal ran away from him. Joyce is a physical monster and possesses an athletic build that is rare in the high school game for a defensive lineman.
