Carr is a quarterback-friendly target—the kind coaches love on 3rd downs – and is a type of player all offenses could use. With steady hands, strong tracking ability, and controlled body mechanics, he adjusts to inaccurate balls and fights through contact to finish catches. His spatial awareness and IQ is high-level; he constantly finds soft spots in zone coverage and presents himself cleanly to the QB while also staying alive in scramble situations.
He may not always win with flash, but his value lies in reliability—he sustains drives, converts downs, and plays with a high understanding of where he needs to be.

Jakorie Carr Jakorie Carr 5'9" | WR Anniston | 2026 State AL has made some huge plays for Anniston’s passing attack over the last two seasons.
Carr is an explosive deep threat who can take the top of the defense at any given moment. He plays with great speed and twitch, and has excellent ball skills downfield he uses to track and haul in really impressive passes.
Carr is really impressive after the catch- he’s really elusive with the ball in his hands and can make defenders miss to find extra yards on every reception. When you pair that with his hands, it makes him a dangerous pass catcher out wide.

Jakorie Carr Jakorie Carr 5'9" | WR Anniston | 2026 State AL is a really talented athlete on both sides of the ball at DB and WR respectively, but I think he is going to project more to WR heading forward. Carr has a lot of twitch to him- he can get a ton of separation at and off the line of scrimmage with his footwork and makes plays wuickly after. Carr also has a strong set of hands and can make catches or plays on the ball with ease- keep an eye on him this upcoming season- he’s got a ton of potential!
