He is very lengthy and has great traits when it comes to rushing a quarterback. When he is at his best, he is the field general on the defensive side of the ball at such a young age. He has it all, and will only get better as time goes on. Smith has a ton of potential to have a bigger season this year, and that is something that will scare any quarterback in his way. Make sure you keep an eye on Smith to say you were on him as early as Prep Redzone was!

Smith is a versatile second-level defender who is both physical and active enough to play both in and outside the box. He has plenty of range and can attach to receivers in the passing game. His play strength is still developing, but he is physical as a tackler and works hard to keep himself free of blockers. Smith has plenty of upside and has the potential to be an exciting player once his play strength comes around.

One of the top young linebackers in Fulton County, Smith could be ready to make a big impact as the varsity level for the Roswell Hornets in 2025. He’s an active defender who knows how to read the run and make a dependable tackle on the ball-carrier. His best football is years ahead of him, and if he continues to develop and gain good weight over the next several months, Smith could have a strong sophomore season several months from now.

, it really is a cool thing. He first came to a Prep Redzone Next Middle School Camp as an assuming 5-foot-6, 135-pound linebacker. Fast forward to present day, and Smith is now a 5-foot-10, 160-pounder has attended three PRZ Next Camps and just got selected to his second straight Georgia Future Stars team. Smith recorded 53 tackles in nine games this season and was also selected to the Georgia Elite Classic All-Star Game this past December. However you want to judge success – stats, post-season honors, all-star games, etc. he checks every box. Perhaps the best most noteworthy thing about Smith, is his attitude. Other than the popping of his pads, you wouldn’t even know he was on the field–because he lets his play do all the talking.

We’ve seen Smith a few times between PRZ Next camps and other events. Did a nice job at outside linebacker for the Georgia Future Stars. Ran well and looked natural in pass drops. Also showed off leadership ability.

of Roswell was a 7th grader that the evaluation team really loved. He was a lunch pale type guy that gives you great route running and ability to create separation making him an excellent slot. But, Smith was also impressive on the defensive side of the ball showing that he could be as effective as an outside linebacker.
