What college program could say no! 2026 OT Jake Gau Jake Gau 6'7" | 300 lbs | OL Eden Prairie | 2026 State MN and EP Eagles squad is in the midst of a heckuva 2025 season, with a dominant running game that begins and ends with the excellent tackle play of their RT Jake Gau Jake Gau 6'7" | 300 lbs | OL Eden Prairie | 2026 State MN . A gargantuan presence on the gridiron, Gau has put in some serious work between his junior and senior seasons, especially in the strength and physicality department, and the 315 lber. has been absolutely wrecking opponents at the midseason point of 2025. Gau opens his tape with arguably the biggest hit of the Minnesota 2025 regular season, as a pull to the playside of the LOS set the versatile tackle up to run through a helpless STMA like the rug was swept out from under him, smashing through the OLB like he caught in the running of the bulls in Spain. Gau owns lead in his hands, crumples smaller defenders when he gets a good head of steam going, and displays tons of pop at the contact point. He can combo block and change direction well in space and at the second level of a defense, moves mass all around the box and can consistently win his assignment and open gaps and holes for his RBs, and is a nasty finisher who makes sure you feel every bit of him when he gets you out of position or on the turf. Plus, he reps as a DT, where he can shock, shed, and tackle behind the LOS with success.

After earning offers or roster spots from Sioux Falls, Drake, Northern State, and St. Thomas during the 2025 summer camp szn, Gau’s 2025 regular season play has really struck him up a notch in the recruiting sphere, as he earned a D1 scholarship offer from FCS South Dakota State, the recent back-to-back champs, as well as a roster spot from Butler.
