When called upon to hit an out route, Garrett got the ball out early and in a spot where his target would be. This allowed his paired receiver to plant, cut, and get upfield for additional yardage without having to slow down on the merits of Garrett’s throw. Before that, however, Garrett uncorked one of the deepest, highest throws I saw. This bomb might have been about 70 yards up in the air, as it crescendo’d, apexed, and decrescendo’d right into his targets hands. I was utterly impressed.

Garrett consistently had routine zip on the ball. In addition to this, he had very good ball placement when throwing to the flats. Sometimes tough throws at camps, he squeezed them in before defenders could jump those routes.

Garrett, had outstanding accuracy throughout the camp. I liked his ability to make tough throws look easy. He had a good release, and I liked his mechanics throughout the 1v1 drills. Garrett is a QB, who can easily play at the next level, and is a guy to watch.
