Jake is a big bodied target at 6’6 and over 200lbs. He’s a physical kid, playing both TE and DE, and he utilizes his size well. In the passing game, I think he is a bit raw but shows some good flashes. He isn’t the cleanest route runner, but he runs them well enough to get separation and uses his size to come down with the ball. Blocking wise, he does a good job of staying low and driving, and doesn’t let guys off easily. I know he works hard off the field, and is a multi-sport athlete, so I think the potential is there to take a big step up for Unity Christian this fall.
