Baldus is at his best when he is able to make one cut and get downhill. He has good speed to get to the corner and is explosive through the hole when running between the tackles. Baldus doesn’t have the size of a bruising runner, but he won’t be brought down with an arm tackle. He has plenty of power to work his way through an arm tackle. He runs with a low center of gravity, making him a good blocker. He can also get involved in the passing game. A two-way player, he comes up strong against the run as a deep safety.
