In my opinion, good offensive line play starts from the ground up. I feel good feet and agility mostly trump strength and power. The first thing I noticed about Allex was his feet. What he does in the first two feet of space separates the Tigers’ big man. His footwork and hips in the left tackle’s pass sets and initial contact in the running game give him an immediate advantage. While I said strength is secondary, guys still have to have a baseline of strength and power, and Allex has that, too. He has the strength to put guys away both in pass pro and blocking for the run.
